A user wrote that “After listening to PSL 6 anthem, I realized why the PSL 5 anthem was called Tayyar Hain.” Another user even wrote that “For the first time, I am jealous of my deaf cousin.”

Celebrities including Mehwish Hayat, Yasir Hussain, Aijaz Aslam, Ali Gul Pir, Meesha Shafi and some other celebrities came in the defense of the new PSL anthem Groove Mera.

Mehwish Hayat

Mehwish Hayat wrote in defense that “Idk what the fuss is abt? I loved the new #pslanthem2021. It was bold and fresh! This is what stifles creativity in our country, we always want more of the same and not prepared to accept anything different. This bashing has to stop. We need a diversity of voices and ideas. Well done PSL.”

For this tweet, Mehwish Hayat has been trolled badly.

Last year, PSL‘s fifth official anthem was also highly criticized by the fans which were sung by Asim Azhar, Arif Lohar, and Ali Azmat. In response, Ali Zafar made his own version of PSL 5 for his fans “Mela Loot Liya” on public demand.

However, the attempt was not very well-received among the masses. Many of Ali’s fans found ‘Mela Loot Liya’ to be underwhelming, later accepting ‘Tayyar Hain’ as a better song.

Ali Zafar also jumped on the bandwagon this time around by tweeting: ‘Ab Kya Ker Diya Mein Ne?’ that again indicates him to go for another song.
