The Federal Board of Revenue, Pakistan’s tax collection body, has opened a file against famous International singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
FBR reportedly inquired him about his assets and private properties.
According to FBR sources, they investigated the singer about his secret bank accounts and income. FBR has given him a deadline of 24 hours to submit details of his charges.
Earlier in December, FBR also asked Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for a money trail against Rahat Rahat Fateh Ali Khan according to the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
Looks like FBR is on a roll these days, and it’s the celebrites’ turns this time. FBR just recently sent a tax notice to star singer Atif Aslam to pay Rs.5.8 crore as his income tax for the year 2018.
